(Ahlul Bayt News Agency) - An exhibition of Quranic works by Koichi Honda, famous Japanese Quran calligrapher was held at Nader Devanbegi historical school of Bukhara, Republic of Uzbekistan.
The exhibition titled “gift of Honda to Bokhara” was held in line with the “voices of centuries" Art Festival underway in the city.
According to the news central asia website, 23 tableaux of the Quranic verses calligraphies created by the Japanese artist were displayed at the exhibition.
The opening ceremony of the exhibition was held in April with the presence of Tursunali Quziev, head of the representative office of UNESCO in Uzbekistan and head of the Art Cultural Center of the country and Irina Boltenkova, deputy of the editor in chief of the Russian edition of Hello Magazine.
Koichi Honda is the head of the Japanese Association of Arabic Calligraphy in Daito Bunka University, Japan.
